In my George data base I have Enoch A. George b. June 9, 1847 married Permelia Emma F. Sanders on the same date you have. This Enoch died in San Antonio, TX October 16 1917 and is buried in Rose Lawn Cemetary along with Permelia who died February 8, 1949. Children: Sarah Burrait George m. Richard Lindsey, Jessie Lee George b. 29 May 1873; Adella Mariam George b 3 May 1875 Floyd Co, GA m. Thomas Calvin Wheat; Ettie Jane George b 9 June 1878, Floyd Co, GA and Louise George b. 18 Dec 1888 Floyd Co and m. French G. Ferguson. Source was Mrs. James G. Christopher, Brownwood, TX in 1987 from personal knowledge of Wheat Christopher. This Enoch is probably son of Joseph George and Mira Starks of Carroll Co, GA.
