Edward George died August 26th 1895 at Massillon aged 67 years. Ann George died December 28th 1904 aged 75 years. John Edward George died January 19th 1905. NOTES Ann George, Sr. was born Rawlins. Ann George, Jr. married William Henry Bailey John Edward George married 1) Matilda E. Wagner (dau. of Henry & Elizabeth) 2) Carrie ? Elizabeth George married Gregory Davis Francis Jane married Charles Hollinger Miriam married ? Price Elen George married Louis J. Vogt Edward George and his family came to America and settled in Massillon, Oh. in 1863, according to the obituary of Anna, his wife. OBITUARY MRS. ANN GEORGE Mrs. Ann George, aged 75 years, the widow of the late Edward George, died Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Bailey, east of the city. The deceased had been a resident of Massillon since 1863 and is survived by six children: John E. George, Mrs. Gregory Davis and Mrs. L.J. Vogt, of Massillon; Mrs. Francis Hollinger, west of Massillon, and Mrs. Marium Price, Sioux City, Ia.; two brothers, Frank and William Rawlins, of Buffalo, and two brothers and two sisters in Europe. The funeral will be held from the residence of L.J. Vogt, 16 Cecil street, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. O.P. Foust officiating. Interment will be made in the Massillon cemetery. OBITUARY MRS. ELIZABETH DAVIS Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, aged 46 years, wife of Gregory Davis, died at the family home, 227 West Main street, at 4:30 Sunday morning. Death was due to pneumonia. The deceased is survived by her husband, five sons and three daughters. They are Albert, William, Roy, Oscar, Howard, Edna, Mary and Helen Davis, of Massillon. She is also survived by one brother, John George, and four sisters, Mrs. L.J. Vogt, Mrs. Henry Baily and Mrs. Charles Hollinger, of Massillon, and a sister in Sioux City, Ia. The funeral will be held from the residence at 1:30 o'clock and from the Christian church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Harvy Stoner officiating. Mrs. Davis was born in Wales and came to this country when but a small child. She was a devoted member of the Christian church. She was also a member of the Rathbone Sisters. The deceased had been ailing for the past two or three weeks with a complication of diseases. Later pneumonia developed.
