I am researching the family of Redding George in Tn who married Sarah Boothe in Orange Co, NC in 1820. The 1820 Census in Orange Co has Josiah Boothe and Josiah Boothe Jr listed just before David George. I believe that David George could be the father of Redding (or at least a relative) and Josiah Boothe possibly the father of Sarah and Millie.
Further... I found posted on familysearch the probate of Soloman George (he died intestate in Wake County, NC in 1824) in which are listed sons David and Brinkley. The probate papers state that Brinkley left NC before his father's death (for TN) and that he had already received his share.
This is quite possibly your Brinkley George
Soloman and wife Sarah's children listed are: Abner, Brinkley, Polly, Betsy, John, Presley, Timothy, David, and Soloman Jr.
Am working to piece this family together.
