I a descendant of the Virginia Georges of the 1700's. I've had a difficult time tracing them. I wondering if we might be connect in some way. I have asked my brother if he too would participate in the George DNA project and he said he would. We descend, according to family oral history, from a William Henry George who came over from Wales around 1742. He had twelve sons and four daughters (or so I'm told). He had sons named Parnick and William. I don't know what son I descend from. I think that my ancester Reuben George born 1776 in Virginia and died in 1854 in Jefferson Cty Tennessee was my 3 great grandfather and William's grandson. His son Parnick was born in Rutherford Tennessee in 1820. His son Edward Newton was born 1848. My grandfather, Luther, was born 1887 in Izard Cty Arkansas. I'm not sure if you have any info on gaps in my information or not.
