I was checking the message board for James George and saw your posting. I believe we are decendants of James George also.
Daughters of the American Revolution says James George was the son of William and Elizabeth Bland George. He was born in l802 and died l836. He was ask to bring a cannon to the Alamo on his wagon. He and brother in law William Dearduff delivered the cannon along with the other volunteers from Gonzales. Wilma George Pratt
