As a side note I forgot to mention that Maria was just 32 when she passed away having my grandma and her twin so I suppose if John was about that age in 1917 then 1880's for birth year? I was also told that one or both of my great grandparents were Portugese or Portugese descent. I don't know if my grandma had other siblings or if my great grandfather or great grandmother had siblings or what. I would love to find them if any. Any relatives at all really. I know very little about my family and I don't want that for my kids. I dont even know when or if he immigrated. I was told he did. Thanks
