I have done some research on Curling families as part of the research for my husban'ds tree.

I have a Thomas George, born 1890 Summerside, Bay of Islands, he was the son of Matthew George and Theresa McCarthy. McCarthy is my husband's tree.

Matthew and Theresa had at least nine children.

Thomas and Mary had at least seven children, and in the 1921 census they were living in McCarthys, Bay of Islands.

Happy to share what little info I have, get in touch if you still need info.
