The Batavia (Illinois) Herald, Jan. 23, 1901:

Mrs. Frank E. George very pleasantly entertained about 60 of her lady friends at their pleasant and spacious home on Prairie St., Saturday afternoon, the 19th inst. A guessing contested afforded much amusement, Mrs. J. P. Prindle and Mrs. M.J. Abernethy securing the prizes, which consisted of a handsome salad dish and vase. The dining room was a bower of beauty, with decorations of carnations and greens. A delicious lunch was served and a merry time enjoyed by all.
