Thanks so much for answering, my sister-in-law found Robert and Ida's marriage papers in my Mother's stuff, and it states that Robert had one previos wife, but no surviving wives. We assumed that meant he had been married before, unless it was worded wrong. Robert and Ida were married in 1900, I do believe it was Dec.
Thank you again for replying, where did you find their marriage record?
