There is something about the statements you make that don't make sense, but I can't figure it out right now. I think it's Nicholas and Eliza having a child in 1855. I'm looking at the 1860 census of Livingston Parish, LA and they have no GEORGE children in the home, just WHITE children that I suspect were grandchildren. I'm trying to figure out who Eliza West's parents were and thought I would go at it from the George side.

Can you help? In the 1820 census for St Helena Parish there was an older Nicholas George living next door to John West, but John didn't have a wife at home and no daughters. Probably his wife had died and all children grown.
