Lewis George's son James W. George married Amanda Peel in Shelby County in 1846. They had a son named Alfred Richard George (born 1858) and I believe a daughter named Mary.

James W. served in Confederate Army and died Feb 1865 in prison camp at Camp Douglas in Illinois. Amanda remarried and Alfred Richard George then became Alfred Richard Honeycutt.

Honeycutts still live in the Shelby County, Alabama area to this day.
