JC, I just picked up your message today, but I have some information on Francis George (1815 -August 17, 1877).

He is buried in Sanford Cemetery, Cohoctah, Livington Co, MI with his wife, Mary Barbara Herr who is my G-G-G Aunt.

Mary Barbara Herr was born January 15, 1826, Huerrlingen,Baden,Germany, grew up in Nankin Twp, Wayne Co, MI and died February 7, 1879, Cohoctah, Livington, MI.

Francis and Mary Barbara were married March 4, 1844, in Plymouth, Wayne Co, MI.

They had children, Emily 1846, Dillon 1848, Lester James 1851, Fidell July 1853, Marietta 1857, and Francis 1868.

Have and willing to share my large data base on the Herrs, who came over in 1831 on the General Hamilton.

I'm going to Germany in March specifically to try to research my and maybe your Herr roots out more closely.

Please send me an email off line - I'd like to learn more about your descendancy from Francis and Mary Barbara.

Thanks!
Rodger
