I would like to contact descendants of James Wesley George and Sarah J. Livingston, believed to have mar. 6 Jan. 1849, Lowndes Co., Mississippi. A researcher who lives in Orange, CA, contacted me in Dec. 2003; regrettably I've misplaced the e-mail and address. It is my belief that Sarah J. Livingston was possibly the dau. of Moses Livingston and Elisabeth Callahan, of Fayette Co., AL. Sarah J. was born 8 Jan 1833 in AL, d. aft 1910. James Wesley George was b. Feb. 1828 in AL, d. aft 1910 in TX. Their children were Stephen M. George, Sarah F. George, Susan A. George, James David George, William Harvey George, Josie George, Alonzo George, Andrew George, and Webster George. I have tracked them through censues:

1850 Monroe Co., MS (Monroe Co. is just north of Lowndes Co., MS)
1860, Brazos Co., TX
1870, Brazos Co., TX
1880, Brazos Co., TX
1900 Brazos Co., TX
1910, Brazos Co., TX

A search of the 1920 census did not find either Sarah or her husband.

The Sarah J. Livingston, dau. of Moses, was b. 8 Jan. 1833 per the date in the Moses Livingston family Bible. The 1900 census birth date for Sarah, wife of James W. George, was Jan. 1833. Sarah also had a sister Caroline who mar. Kelsey Webb and they were living in Monroe Co., MS in 1850, and they migrated to TX. The evidence seems to support the theory that the Sarah J. Livingston who mar. James W. George was Sarah the dau. of Moses Livingston. My interest in this family is that I am a direct descendant of Moses Livingston and I have been trying to fill in the collateral lines; Sarah's brother Jackson was my gr-grandfather.
