Enid Daily Eagle Jan 3 1959.
Clarence E. George, 77, died Saturday afternoon in an Oklahoma City hospital following a long illness.
George was a native of Kansas and came to Oklahoma as a young man living in the Drummond community for many years prior to moving to Enid in 1943. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.His wife preceeded him in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Graham, Colorado Springs, Colo; Mrs. Lida Gates, Monroe, LA; and Mrs. Noble Gregg, Oklahoma City; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Henninger-Allen funeral home. Rev. E.W. Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid cemetary.
