I have only begun research on my line of Georges, using a file left by a cousin who did quite a bit of research. You might be interested to know of Robert George (my ggrandfather, or more likely, great- or great-great Uncle) who lived in Sebastian, Arkansas (and/or Mansfield, and Chocoville) around 1886. I have a copy of a local history that refers to him. He was possibly the son of William George, Jr, and Sallie McFarland. I can share some leads with you, but at this point the sources are skimpy and unverified. I probably won't resume research until midsummer, but I would welcome any information you might contribute to the effort!
all the best,
Larry George (
