I am recently starting to research my family background. I'm looking for information on George's in Alabama. My fathers moms dad was full Indian and so were his parents. His name was Ed George. (Ed is what my grandmother said she always remembered him being called as he died when she was 6 or 7 and she never got to learn much about him) So he might possibly have a different spelling of his first name. He married Mame (I'm not sure I spelled that correctly) Barnett. He died in either 1945 or 1946. Can anyone offer any help? Sorry but I'm very new to this. So if I should need to add more information please let me know.
