Can anyone tell me more about the families of this couple? John W. Bowles was born about 1808, and died 24 Jan. 1866 in Fuller's Point, Coles Co., IL. His parents were Benjamin Bowles and Elizabeth Wells. I have quite a bit of information about his siblings.
John married Elizabeth George in Iredell Co., NC ca. 1827. She was born 9 Nov. 1806 in NC and died on 10 Sept. 1853 in Litchfield, Montgomery Co., IL. Her father was Isaac George.
I know nothing about Elizabeth's parents, her siblings or their spouses, or where they lived or where they went.
