I would be happy to share whatever information I have. However, most of what I have on Minerva Jane is sparse and was provided by other researchers via E-Mail or the George List.

I am the gg-grandson of A.J. George, Sr. through his son, Robert F. George. My current focus is on finding the ancestry of Benjamin George, father of A.J. George, Sr. I would also be glad to share any information I have on the ancestry of Benjamin George.

Currently, I am project coordinator of a family DNA study. We currently have 10 participants in the study, but I am the only one from the Benjamin George line. It would be very helpful to have a participant from the A.J. George line or the Benjamin George line, or both. Additional participation would help benchmark the DNA markers and contribute to our understanding of the George family tree. So far the DNA study has disproven the conventional wisdom that the majority of the George families in the Southern United States are related. However, we were able to show a relationship between two of the groups and point the researchers in the right direction for future research. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, contact me off line. In the meantime, I will look for my notes on Minerva Jane.
