The Charles George who is mentioned in the will of Jas. George who d. in Knox Co. in 1810 is not the same as the one who md. Lydia Brock. James was a member of the Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church (see LDS film #0984320), and the executors named in his will were Thos. Hill, the pastor, and Jonas Moon, a member licensed to preach. "My" Chas. d.c. 1844, and his family received dismissal letters from this church in Sept. 1850, as did his (apparent) sister, Martha (George) Mulvaney. These and others went to Mercer Co., MO. [See: 1888 Hist. of Harrison and Mercer Cos., MO, pgs. 699-700 and also 728-29.] A third George sibling named in the will (all 3 being under-age) was Delilah. I believe her to be the Adelia (George) Clifton, wife of Wm. Clifton, who left Sevier Co. for Mercer Co. c. 1870. James George named 14 children in his will (named elsewhere on this board). This places the presumed 3 youngest children of James George in northern Missouri; I am working on the assumption that some older siblings went to Middle Tennessee at an early date.
