Ken:

I'm very interested in your Jesse George, specifically how you tied him to Joseph George of Orange County, NC. I am descended from James George, also son of the same Joseph. We have been trying for years to find information on his brothers, and Jesse has always been a dead-end. Some have suggested that he moved to NC(Stokes County) then to
Gallia County and Mason County (OH and WV) and died 1815, but there is no concrete evidence to substantiate this claim, except that the Jesse George who DID move to OH named three of his sons William, Isaac, and James. This seems more than coincidental, given that the Joseph George from NC named three of his sons those same names. If you can shed some light on this family mystery, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Sharma George Brown
