Dave F. George and Ella Colvin

I have been trying to find out for over five years who my grandfather's parents were.

He was born January 15, 1885 in Washington, AR. He lists his parents on his social security application as Ella Colvin (b. MO in 1864) and Neal S. Dollar. However, we believe Neal S. Dollar is probably Cornelius Dollar.

We do not believe that Ella Colvin was his mother, but instead she and her spouse, Dave F. George raised William Dollar. I can find nothing to indicate Ella Colvin was ever married to anyone named Dollar (although I cannot prove she never had a child with him). There was a Cornelius Dollar living in the area when my grandfather was born.

My grandfather is listed as a boarder in the Dave F. George and Ella Colvin home in 1910 in AR.

The George family later moved to TX and then NM. My grandfather called the George son his "half-brother", but he never indicated that these people were his real parents. He never knew any of his Dollar family. I would love to find them for him now, although he's been gone many years.

If you can shed any light on any of these families, please let me know.
