My g g g grandfather was supposedly of Welsh descent. He was Henry Franklin George born around 1829 in North Carolina. I don't know this for a fact but my dad's cousins tell me that their grandfather, Henry's son Thomas George was always bragging about being a Welshman (even though he was born in Tennessee). Said the Welsh ran in his blood.
