Elaine, I’ve been anxious to hear back from you. My email address is <patleon@mcsi.net> . As soon as you email me I’ll send you Lewis’s family with all their dates & places. I ran across him by accident when Norman & Lydia moved to Hartland, Niagara Co, NY and I decided to investigate a ‘Lewis George’ who was born in Maine also. His children were Rosalthe M, Austin A, William G, Amos A, Cyrus D, Harvey L, Francis A & Albert. Also, Norman Sischo bought land in Niagara Co on 1 Oct 1848 with Lewis George listed on the deed as having adjacent land to his. Listed in the Hartland Central Cemetery Records, Niagara Co, NY, Lot 16; Lewis George died 28 Mar 1871, 56 yrs old, Vet. GAR 1861-65. His son Francis George’s wife, Clara Allen George (1860-1886) was listed in Lot #24 along with her family - Mary Elizabeth Allen 1854-1880, Elias Bliss Allen 1823-1904 & Eliza Boyd Allen 1829-1901. I’ll be anxiously waiting to hear back from you. Patty
