I can't help you with the Georges listed (you've been a lot of help to me in the past though), but I can tell you what I know about Tobias, William, and John Honea and Abel Brooks.
Tobias Honea is my 4th great-grandfather. He was born April 25, 1762 in Nash Co., NC. His wife's name was Mary, but no one has been able to find out her maiden name.
His children, William, John, Lydia, Thomas, and Mary were all born in South Carolina. I don't have a county or an exact birthdate for any of them. Mary Honea was married to Abel Brooks.
John Honea and family left Alabama in about 1850 and moved to Leake Co., Mississippi. By 1860 they were in Cherokee Co., Texas. Many of their children, and Thomas Honea's children ended up in Robertson Co., Texas. Of course from there they spread all over.
I believe that William also ended up in Mississippi, and one of his children may have been Smith S. Honea (although I'm not sure about this). Smith Honea and John Honea's son William Abel Honea both joined up with Hoods Texas Brigade in 1861 out of Anderson Co., TX. Smith died of disease in Richmond, VA in the spring of 1862, and William died at Sharpsburg.
I'm not sure what happened to Abel and Mary Honea Brooks. Lydia Honea married Alexander Brown (he was born in Tennessee).
That's all the information that I have about the Honeas prior to 1850. Tobias has a pension record, but it isn't going to help you find any Georges.
Hope this helps some.
