John George, d. 1679, Kinswoman Mary Baugh???

I was recently going through some older files and ran across an old early Baugh reference in VA in the mention in the 1679 will of John George in Isle of Wight Co, where he mentions "kinswoman" Mary Baugh.

I am trying to piece together early Baugh families (of Henrico Co), and am curious if anyone knows what relationship Mary Baugh had with the family of John George.

The will can be found online at this quite nice website --

I have looked at the names associated with John George, and only the TANNER name stands out as a name with which the Baughs in Henrico had associations (ie, lived close by Joseph Tanner at this time, etc.)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Best Regards,
Janet (Baugh) Hunter jleehunt1@aol.com
