Thanks for your reply. One name in particular had a familiar ring to it, Anna Dean George. But that could just be because my husband's name is Dean George. Sorry, I got a little chuckle at that (yes, I do,indeed, amuse easily.
Have you scanned any of the pictures of your husband's GGrandfather? If you have, I would be interested in taking a look at one or two to see if there could possibly be any resemblance. My husband's George branch has a very distinctive appearance. Of course, the only examples we have are my husband's Grandfather, Father, and uncles. None the less, I am still curious as to whether or not there could be some resemblance.
