Hi Barbara, wish I could help you, but at this point, I don't think anyone knows for sure on these George's. Just by seeing and talking with other families on these George's, it would be my guess that they all connect somehow.

I think one the big problems is that with the flux etc. with the men and women dying and re-marrying, that it places all the kids under the new spouses.

I'm looking for Oscar George that married Lacrice/Lavice?? Witten, somehow that group comes into our FT too. People still living remembers their Uncles talking about O. George or William George/was called Oscar. Every George in the state of Ky connects somehow. My guess is that all George's in US & Canada all comes from the same group that first came over in this country.

Ed Hazelett is working on two George's that was in the Union War ,which was never claim.

Sure wish we all could figure this out. Good Luck, but I will keep an eye on this set, so many similar names. Wonder if your Issac Web George, comes from the Webb's, Butcher's and Wells.
