Jerrilyn, I saw your note and thought this would be a good place to jump in, feet first!I just got off Ancestry.com and this what I found. Hope it will be interesting to you and others looking for Nicholas George, whichever one he may be. I was hopoing to hook him into my line but came away without satisfaction. Here goes;

Richard George, b. 1564, Writtle, Essex Co., England and died 1678,Isle of Wight Co., VA, married Anne Gibson. They had
William George, b.1584, England, married Anne Green. They had

Humphrey George, b.1608, England. Humphrey George had two siblings! One Nicholas george and the other John George.

Nicholas, brother to Humphrey, was born in 1603 in England and died bdfore 1700 in Lancaster Co., VA.Nicholas married Elizabeth Ann (last name unknown) and they had

1.Nicholas, d. before 8 Aug 1733 and married Mary Ann (last name unknown).
2.Benjamin
3.Elmore
4.William
5.Ruth
6.Grace
7. girl child

No. 1, Nicholas had the following children:
1.Nicholas George, died before 10 Oct 1731. He married Martha, Last name unknown.
2.William
3.David
4.Isaac
5.Samuel
6.Letice
7.Benjamin

Now the above Nicholas & Martha had the following children:
1.Nicholas
2.Lewis
3.William
4.Wilmouth

At which point I decided to stop writing all this down as it certainly wasn't my line as I had hoped. Without looking I'd be willing to bet this last Nicholas had a son named Nicholas, too.

Ellen
