I am a descendant of HENRY GEORGE, born 1761 in Talgrath (possibly misspelled: Tilgrath), Wales, and died November 01, 1821, in Chester Township, Morrow Co., Ohio. He married MARY BEVAN. Children of HENRY GEORGE and MARY BEVAN are: (1)HENRY GEORGE, JR., b. 1789, Tilgrath, Wales; m. MARY THOMAS. (2) MARY GEORGE, b. 1791; d. November 01, 1821, Chester, Morrow Co., OH; m. ROBERT EVANS. (3)RICHARD GEORGE, b. December 03, 1793, Tilgrath, Wales; d. August 25, 1880, Granville, Licking Co., OH, married RACHEL THOMAS October 07, 1813 in Chester, Knox Co., OH, daughter of WILLIAM THOMAS and GENETT (THOMAS).(4) ENOCH EDWARD GEORGE, b. January 01, 1800, Wales; m. JANE EVANS. (5) WILLIAM GEORGE, b. 1802, Wales; m. SARAH DAVEY. (6)THOMAS GEORGE, b. 1803, Pennsylvania; d. August 27, 1843, Morgan Co., Missouri; m. ELIZABETH WILLIAM. (7) ELIAS GEORGE, b. October 29, 1804, Cambria Co., PA; m. BELINDA SALISBURY. (8) JOHN GEORGE, b. 1807, Cambria Co., PA; m. LYDIA CHURCHILL. Henry GEORGE was a Baptist minister and missionary to the Indians. His was the eighth cabin built in the wilderness that eventually became Morrow County, Ohio. I will share whatever information I have with other descendants in exchange for information.
