I may have an answer for you. I just learned that my ancester Nicholas Schneider of Franklin Co. PA who had a sister Maria Sophia, also left Germany and settled in Franklin Co. after having married Johann Adam George in Tohickon Reformed Church, Bucks Co. PA, son of Johann Matthias George who also left records there and later went to Franklin Co.

I am now busy trying to learn more of the George family. Johann Adam and Maria Sophia had 7 children that I have found, Adam George born about 1770 and Jacob George born 25 May 1772 married Anna Margaret Cook (Koch) about 1794. Jacob had four children, Jacob, Adam, Peter and Samuel. Adam was born 6 Dec 1797 in Franklin Co. I have no further info on him but this sounds like a possibility for you. If so I have his Schneider ancestry back many generations into Germany.
