James,

Reuben George b. 1749 married Elsey Frazy in 1890 according to the family bible. WE have not found the parents of Reuben as yet. The Reuben George who descends from John George and Millicent Mary Jordan George was the Reuben born in 1740 and married Mirdred Rogers.

In the family bible it is written, by Reuben that Elsey was a Tuckhoe Indian of the Sioux (sp) tribe and I quote, "of the salty sea of Virginia", unquote. If you would like to see a picture of Reuben then go to the following link:

www.tctwest.net/~asemmett/

This should work for you. It is stated that Reuben was raised in NJ and was of German descent but we cannot prove nor disaprove this statement. The Reuben George of 1740 was of English descent and boy, did I do wonders with that line only to find that he was the WRONG Reuben!

Ellen
