Do you know that Steven George of Vancouver, Washington is researching the same line as you?

At least, he's researching John George, born 1821 in Hockely, married Theresea Ann Hancox (born in Herefordshire), lived in Liverpool. There can't be too many couples like that, although they had a son named Walter Hancox George, of which there are at least two.

Hockley, or Hockley Hill, is a suburb of Birmingham, at the confines of Warwickshire and Staffordshire, on the Stour Valley Railway, NE of Smethwick.
