I have a Joseph George born in Tennessee in 1823. He Married in 1841 a Mary Williams born 1824. The family moved from TN to Richview IL. found in 1850 Census in both Washington and Jefferson County IL.
With children: William B. George age 8 born IL. and Francis Marion George age 2 born IL.
Mary must have died for he is found in the 1860 Census with his New Wife Nancy A. Ballard (I have Marrige certificate)
William B. married on 17 October 1860 Washington Co. IL. to Nancy Lanham
child: John George b. 1865 Married Ida Slade
Marion Francis fought in Civil War Co.1 of 154 IL. INF buried in Richview IL. He Married Elizabath Franis on June 27, 1870 Washington Co.IL. He Married next Abby M. Reeves on September 24, 1883 in Washington Co. IL. Children Emma George b. June 30, 1887 d.March 9 1888 Richview IL.
James Fredie George b. February 23, 1889 d. July 21, 1889
Abby M. died and is buried with children in Richview Cemetery.
Francis M. George then Married Mrs. Minnie Mae (Quinton) Yarbrough on February 13, 1917 Washington Co. IL. they had children Norma Wanda George b. March 2, 1923 D.Feb.19, 1992
Marion Francis George JR. b. Jan. 17, 1925 d. Apr. 24 1980
This line came to IL. from TN. I have found grave of Francis Marion but no sign of his father Joseph could we be looking for the same line?
