Seeking info on the George family of Crawford County, Wisconsin, especially information on ancestors and descendants of Emanual George, b. 04 May 1825 in Baughurst, Haughurst Hill, Hampshire, England and d. 08 Oct 1900, buried at Mt. Sterling, WI. Emanual married Barbara ("Barbry") Blum, b. 27 Apr 1835 in Glarus, Switzerland. Emanuel was the son of Henry and Eve Marshall. Barbry was the daughter of Johannes and Anna (Laaager) Blum. Specifically interested in descendancy of the Georges thru Emanuel's fourth child, also named Emanuel, born around 1853 in Green County, WI and married Amy Emily Copsey, daughter of John Copsey and Susan Green.
