Faye,
There is a book "Foot Steps of Jesse George" by Doris Claiborne of Jacksonville,
Texas which primarily covers the descendants
of John Cary George (a son of Jesse). John
Cary b.1793-d.aft.1870 moved all or most of his family of thirteen children from Barnwell Co.,SC to Cherokee Co.,TX about 1843
(two more were born in TX and four additional
from a second marriage for a total of 19).
The book is spiral bound compilation of about 150 pages comprised of family sheets and copies of photos with possibly about 50 copies ever made. It does include
several pages contributed by Bettye Collier
Smith (IGRS) with some info about Jesse and
other possible family members. I doubt that
copies are still available but will try to
contact Mrs. Claiborne if you wish.
