According to my source, the Georges are related to Pochahantas through the Randolphs of Virginia. Col. Richard Randolph (1695-1742) m. Jane Bolling, daughter of Major Bolling and his wife, Miss Rolfe, who was a granddaughter of Pocahantas. Richard & Jane had several children. William Randloph, son of Giles, m. Ann Banks. Their daughter Mary m. Basil George around 1814. Children: Sallie, Jefferson, William, Alexander Banks, Joseph Langston. Joseph m. Lucinda Melton, children: Mary, Sallie, Rebecca, Robert, Basil, Randolph, Joseph, Alexander, Mary Alice, Charles. Randolph m. Alice Sumrall, children: Joseph, Harry, Emma, Randolph. Alice died 1893, he remarried Mary Guyse and had 7 more children. I have more detail if anyone wants specifics on any part of this, let me know!
