GEORGE family - Tennessee to Texas

REDMON GEORGE married NANNY MULLINS, came from Tennessee to Texas when their children were small and settled in Garden Valley, Smith County, Texas. They are both buried at a cemetery my grandmother calls “Alec Green” in the area near Van, Texas. They had the following children: CAZ (male), IVY (male), WILL (male), JIM (male), DENNY (female), BELL (female) NAOMA ELIZABETH (my g-grandmother), born August 30, 1874, in Bedford/Bedford County, Tennessee. Naoma Elizabeth (nickname Lora) married Elisha Bunyan Tunnell (nickname Bunny) and they lived in Van, Van Zandt County, Texas, the rest of their lives. CAZ lived in the McKinney, Texas, area, had a son named CECIL and a daughter named GERTHA. WILL and JIM both lived in Grand Saline, Texas. DENNY married a man named YORK. BELL married a man named MAYO and lived in Van.

I will be going to Texas (I live in Hawaii) in September for a week and plan to visit the graves of my ggg-grandparents at “Alec Green” Cemetery. Any suggestions for “cemetery investigating”? I’m really new at this.

Do these people fit into anyone’s family?
If so, please contact me - saundrabusto@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Saundra Busto
