GEORGE's in Georgia from Ireland
Posted by: Tom George Date: July 30, 1998 at 15:17:09

My name is Tom George I am researching my ancestry from Ireland starting with Dave, Carey, Caleb and Jack who migrated to Georgia from Ireland 1820-1830
Dave is my ggggrandfather
Caleb is said to have died at Brushy Knob, GA around April 184?
Jack and Carey migrated to Texas. Carey died in Sulpher Springs

I am looking to locate and or confirm Caleb George death in either Union or Lumpkin as well as tack all the peices together.
Family surnames include
WRIGHT, FAITH(Sweden), DUNSON, Settlesworth/Shuttlesworth(? Spelling)

Dave GEORGE
descendants all migrated to Texas
son :William Frank George married to Nancy Settlesworth(f: Robert Bolden Settlesworth, m: Sarah Lavina DUNSON) May2, 1875, Stockbridge GA(15 children),
Clarence, Owen, Charlie, William, Thomas, Jesse Belle, Florence, others still sorting (All buried in E. Texas)
Robert Lee George Sr. married to Barbara Allen Faith (f: Abraham FAITH(Sweden) M: Nancy Wright)
ggson: R.L. George Jr.buried Marshall, Texas)
two other GEORGE infants probably buried near Brushy Knob
I think that is fairly accurate to this point
If you can provide any help it would be of great assistance

Thank you
Tom George
