Tom,
What a wonderful wealth of information you have provided here. I scanned anxiously for a g-g-grandfather, but did not find one. My great Aunt, who will be 102 in August says that our George's came from Georgia. We now live in SE Texas. My granfather, William Thomas George was born in 1892 in Tyler or Polk County in SE Texas. His brothers were Jesse, Bryan, Burman, Sam and Andrew. His sisters were Nellie, Hattie and twins Bessie and Essie (the last), born in 1912. Their father was Thomas Jefferson George, b. about 1865 (where) and married to Mary Elizabeth Pate about 1888. I would like to know more about the Georges. Does any of this ring a bell with you?
