I'm not sure if Celesta would be Jesse Wesley Georges sister, or not. What I have on him is mostly guesswork, since I've not been able to get any concrete proof about his family prior to his marriage to Sarah Huckaby.
Jesse was born in Georgia about 1819. I've got this from the 1850 Ouchita Parish, La census and also the 1860 Jasper Co., Tx census. I don't have an exact birthday for him, and have been unable to locate his grave. He was living in Muscogee Co., Ga in 1840 next to the man I believe to be his father. He is listed as Wesley George, and his father(?) is listed as Jesse George.
From other information that I have got from census records, marriage liscenses, land records, etc... I believe that a woman named Faithy (don't have a clue to her maiden name) was his mother. The following women are most likely his sisters:
Civility Green George b. SC 1816
Anne George b. SC 1817
Epsey Ann George b. GA 1822
Sarah George b. GA 1829

There was also a sister close to Epsey's age and a brother close to Sarah's that I have been unable to locate after 1840.

I think that J.Wesley's father died prior to 1847 in Georgia, or previously to 1850 in Ouchita Parish, La. All the women I believe to be his sisters, and Faithy moved to Ouachita Parish abt. 1847-1848. I don't have a clue what happened to the other daughter, or the son.

I don't know how many other brothers and sister's he may have had so its possible that
Celesta may, indeed, have been one of them. I know that this family did have a penchant for using the same names over and over. Its this that has led me to believe that they are almost certainly related to the Georges from Barnwell, Co. SC and Henry Co., Georgia. I just haven't been able to figure out how.

I hope this helps you.

Cheryl
