Marriages of Jefferson County, Tennesse 1792-1836, compiled by Edythe Rucker Whitley (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., 1982) states:

PAGE 6: Entry #255. January 10, 1798 Edward George married Polly Hambright.

PAGE 7: Entry #298. January 24, 1799 Samuel George married Barbara Leeth.

I interpreted these entries to be the two sons of Edward and Martha Woolaston George.

Is Arminda Hammond a spelling variation of Polly Hambright or a different person? Please clarify. Thanks.
