My paternal grandmother, Johanna Gentz, lived in Red Hook, Brookly, New York. She had 8 living children - two husbands - James Lawless and Davidson (don't have a first name.) The Lawless children were: Buster, Dorothy, John and Walter; the Davidson children were: Raymond, Hugh Kenneth, Alice and Harold. Apparently, Dorothy was living in Rhode Island in 1939 and had 7 children at that time. Do not know her married last name. In the 1930 Census, she is called Hanna Davidson and is 48 years old - originally from Germany. They lived on Connover Street in Brooklyn.
Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? I'd love to hear from someone. Thanks. Pat L.
