I am related to three families of Genz whose ancestors came through Wisconsin in the latter half of the 1800s. They originated in Pomerania. The families are descendants of the following: Friedrich J. Genz, came to the US in 1882 and settled in Ixonia,WI. Two nephews; Carl P. Genz settled in Oshkosh, WI and Julius A. Genz settled near Altura, MN. One niece; Johanna Zastrow lived near Watertown, WI. She was married to Hermann Wilde. After his death, she married Christian Huebner.
Do any of these individuals appear in your family tree?
