Hi Stephen,
From the information pasted from William Gentleman Perkins son of Lucretia Gentleman and Lemuel Perkins and grandson of Betsy Gentleman and Timothy Perkins, Betsy had lived in Connecticut and her parents came from France. Do you have any information on the Gentleman family being Hugenots and possibly living in a Hugenot settlement in Connecticut? Possibly Milford or Harvard?
