The above federal soldier/sailor/civilian escaped from Andersonville Confederate prison
according to a register of Andersonville prisoners that appears on roll one of the
Andersonville records microfilm (National Archives microfilm M1303). I am doing
historical research on the men who successfully escaped from Andersonville and I would
appreciate hearing from anyone with information on this matter. Thanks. Robert S.
