Hello! I'm from Haleyville, AL and I took a
photo of James Gentle's grave last week
while doing some research on my own family
tree. What a coincidence. I'd be happy to
send it to you if you're interested. I've
been researching the Gentle's too. My
great-grandfather was Thomas Robert Gentle
(1866 - 1940). His father was Jesse (born
1829). I don't have anything before Jesse.
I wonder if the Thomas you're looking for
may also be the father of Jesse? I do have
some information on James' wife and some of
their kids if you're interested. Maybe we
can help each other out!
