My Gentile family is originally from Forli del Sannio, Campobasso, ITALY. They came to the US in ca. 1875. I am looking for the branch of our family in America that left and went to Chicago-- Supposedly a James Gentile. My branch of this family stayed in the New York(Manhattan and Brooklyn)and New Jersey (Bergen County) area. The first generation here was Dominic and his children Nicolantonio, Barbara, and Orlandina. Dominic also brought a grandson Ralph DeBenedetto. I have lots of information going back many generations in Italy. Please contact me if you think you may also be from this very prolific family. I am happy to share.
