John,
So glad to hear from you! I have been working as of late with Laurie C. Angel and Jeannine Dobbins on our common Angle (Engle) history. Jeannine recently sent me a copy of baptism into the Catholic Church for Elizabeth Angle, daughter of our John (surname Hingle in document) and Charlotte Challet (actually Shalley), Dec. 1812. It looks like she was being baptised in order to marry in the Catholic Faith, but doesn't say to whom. This record has made us pretty sure that our Elizabeth is the same as Elizabeth Geno on Estate records of John Wendel Angle (Engel).
I do see your Antoine & Louis Gabriel Aubuchon in "King of France" records with 6 children. Your idea about Antoine first marrying Elizabeth and later Louise sounds interesting and entirely possible but of course will take more research. I'm wondering if the Baptiste Geno and Marie Aubuchon also showing in the church records are actually the same couple ?
I'll let Jeannine and Laurie know about your post so they can take a look. I hope we can tie our two families together.
Sincerely,
Billie
