I continue to use Generations on my PC which is running Windows XP. I found Generations to be the best PC genealogy software around. Believe me, I tried all the widely advertised stuff. If you really want the best, try Reunion. It's Generations on major steroids -- you can even open 2 different family files at once. You'll have to buy a MAC, though. I do most of my genealogy on a MAC for that reason. chp
