Setting flags - marriage partners

Hi all,
Hope someone can help!
Two Problems
1. My database has 30K entries for about 10 of the major ancestral name I am assosciated with. As a result I need to identify individuals as members of a particular group. To do this I have set a number of flags, lots and lots actually. So many that when using a set criteria to automate flag setting this list is so long it exceeds the height of the screen. Not normally a problem as most lists scroll up when the mouse gets to the bottom. This list does not scroll!! The only way I can see more is to rotate the screen 90 degrees so I can display 1200x1600 and tip my head sideways, still not enough space to get to the end of the flags list. Is there any patch to fix?
2. There appears to be no way one can select all descendants from a couple and mark them, along with their marriage partners. It's easy enough to mark the ancestor's descendants, but to mark all the marriage partners is a tedious job, one record at a time. Is there an easy way?

Regards

Rick Klose
